Music Video

Colton Conway is ethically pursuing a pro career as a singer songwriter, he has bravely trusted me to document him. 

This was my first paid music video.

We kept it real simple, no story or cast, just Colton outside in the Southern Alberta foothills. It was a beautiful golden autumn afternoon. We shot the guitar solo in my neighborhood park the following week.

I really enjoyed doing this type of work and hope to do more. The creative process of starting with a song and finishing with a video appeals to me. For many years I designed and operated stage lighting for live music, this was similar in ways. Intro, verse, chorus, bridge, ending etc.… I love the idea of supporting a song with a visual element, no rules – I like that!
